    Default Jet the Dobermann

Robbie and I are in the process of getting our first dog! We've been on the waiting list with our local breeder for most of the year, and when we found out the litter with our puppy had finally arrived I joined up here!

Last weekend we were able to visit the puppies for the first time, and we found out we're getting a girl - we are going to call her Jet.

Because they didnt have collars on they are hard to tell apart, and very fast moving! I managed to snap a few pics (I hope I got the right dog!) - she's about 5 weeks old, and we wont bring her home until end November/start December.

    Just thought I'd share

Yeah we're pretty stoked! A little apprehensive as well, its all new to us, and as a cat person I cant quite get my head around how to go about house training without a litter tray, lol.

We're booked in for heaps of puppy school and training however, and Jet wont be left home alone too often as Robbie can take her to work with him, so hopefully she'll turn out to be a well behaved dog!

    She is cute...

When they are young, rotty pups and dobe pups look similar do they not? I adore dogs with...what do you call the pattern...dots on the eye brows...
I love cooking but I love eating even more.

I haven't seen a rotty pup but they are very alike in colour, and I'd imagine the broader type breeds dont fill out until later in life so that would make sense!

I'm not sure what the pattern is called, but I'd be interested to know.

Great dog and with plenty of training you will be rewarded. I guess after a few months the difference between Doberman pups and Rottie pups would be pretty obvious.
