You're not in QLD are you? I have a friend up that way with a young boy who loves dog parks...

Yep. They often drop their puppy coat at about one and take a while to grow the adult one. They're slow growing generally and reach maturity at about 4 years old.

And long tails! I get so used to tehm that I get surprised by how short other dog's tails seem!

No, I am at Western Sydney (North Parramatta)

The owner was a gentle man in his 50s with heavy eastern european accent.
I have not seen him for a while as I do not go to dog park as much. Too much flea + allergy issues for my minis.
I love cooking but I love eating even more.

    Thaaaaaaankyou Nat!
They're just so elegant. Too see them running at full flight must be amazing.
Are all four and the Salukis all at your house?
Do you show/have plans on breeding the girls and Kurgan?

Just the Borzoi Myf. The Salukis we co-owned and were showing for a while - they have gone back to their breeders.

I'd love to get photos of them running, but they're so fast my crappy camera doesn't cope and I just get blurs. One day I'll get a flash one and get some good pics. We have finished lure coursing for this year - we only do it in winter. But when it's on again next year I'll get some photos taken of them on the run.

Yep we show. Most weekends. Kurgan picked up a Baby in Show at his second day out - superstar in the making. He is loving going out to shows, like Boris he just can't get enough of people and attention. The girls like catching up with people they know at shows, they are a little more reserved with strangers than the boys.

I just showed Ursie and Kurgan today - didn't get around to bathing the other two! Ursie was bitch challenge and best of breed, and Kurgan was baby of breed. Hooray!!

Breeding yes, but not just right now. The litter we had planned this year has been put back due to financial stuff. How boring! But you need to be able to cover any possibility. So wait we will - 'till early next year hopefully!!
