Gorgeous pics MAC! Love the second. I actually want to lie down with them... Looks very cosy!

For the low light photos, a tripod and a long exposure (pick a night time setting) might help and no flash.

For the photos from inside looking out, it's really hard to get those right, the camera gets the exposure all wrong. So again I think a tripod, maybe a fast shutter speed/sports, and no flash.

With fast moving doggies outside, the faster the shutter speed the better, and the more settings you can pre-set the better because if the camera takes time "thinking about" what settings to use, the shot has moved on and you get a bit of blurry dog bum.

It's a digital camera? Take LOADS of photos - practice practice practice makes improvement and the fluke brilliant shot.

I actually like the "atmosphere" of the dogs in front of the heat / fire. It would make a good book cover pic.

Thanks for the tip on the fast shutter, this camera does have that function, if I can just find it.

Yep your right, got to get the old technology mentality out of my head and just go for it and delete later.

Maybe I should try and master this camera before I purchase another too.

I think you are very far from sucking as a photographer, I really like these - #2 especially
