Bohemiannic, when I took these I didn't have a Mac version of photoshop yet so I edited them in iPhoto. I can't remember exactly what I did though, other than B&W and playing with the levels a bit (from memory)

Choppa, it's great! The build quality is obviously cheap, but the shots are great. The first time I took a photo of the bf with it we were shocked at how many blemishes this thing picked up :S. I didn't know he had that many spots. I finally got Photoshop on the Mac last week though and have started learning how to make the skin look better:

They are very good Liza. So a lens you would recommend? We have the Canon EOS 50D with the 18-200 EFS lens and will be looking to get more lens in the near future!

I would definitely recommend this lens, but keep in mind I'm no expert and this is my first non-kit lens. I've also heard some bad stories about the build quality, but most reviews I've read rave about this lens for its price. I have a Canon 1000D with 2 standard kit lenses, this new lens is my first addition so far. Thanks for the compliment about the photos, it's good to know I'm getting better
