Ta. "Life time" guarantee ... what ever that means ....

Trust me, I won't be going up the ladder after a "few Chardies", that's for sure.

I won't be able to cope without the window. My Sister conned me into getting into a suitcase when I was younger & locked me in there. I'm not comfy in confined sapces.

That looks like a great room, will be even better when the window goes in!
And yes be careful, xmas decorations can be heavy and awkward without having to climb a ladder!
Oh! Your sister sounds evil Understand why you wouldn't like confined spaces

Yes, I'm looking forward to having the window put in. I'll have some help with the bulky/heavy stuff. Must admit, it was a bit freaky the first time I went up the stair. I suspect I'll be like a mountain goat in no time though

My Sister is a Manic Depressive with very violent tendancies. She also tried to drown me in the bath when we were young & now I can't put my face under the warm water coming out of the shower head. I have no problem with swimming though.

She didn't get diagnosed until she was an adult, so the disease controlled her life & actions until then. We don't have any contact. I don't trust her behaviour without assurance that she's on her meds & as she's a compulsive liar, I can't guarantee that she's taking them when she says she is.

Actually you'll be amazed how quickly any thought of fear goes and it becomes your sanctuary. I'm claustrophobic, so understand what you're saying Lynnie. Chuck a window in, that will be lovely for air flow too.
Reminds me of Flowers in the Attic.

I read those 3 books in 3 days !!! I couldn't put them down. There were aspects of those stories that were eerily familiar.

Wow must have been very hard for you as kid, being scared of what your sister might do to you Can understand you not wanting any contact with her as well.

I love those books I have heaps of them now, was so excited because Target had a 10 book pack for $30! Brand new and cheaper than buying second hand ones at the market.

Can't imagine being able to relate to that Flowers in the Attic series though
