This is how Scout is when Spirit isn't in the same room with the poor little bugger. I do feel sorry for him at times. Still ... he lives with 3 dogs & he hasn't nicked off yet, so he's pretty resiliant. I do wish Spirit would stop trying to eat his head though ....

Suki the step-pup put her mouth around my cat's head the other day, was wondering if I should be worried But sounds like it's a regular occurrence at your place so all good!

That job was done by attic ladder professionals. It was supposed to take 2 days, but they got it all done today. It's very claustrophobic up there, so he's doing a cash job in a couple of weeks to put a window in there.

"Hubby" was here to do the sparky work & while he was hanging around, he did a bit of maintenance in the kitchen & most importantly, ripped off that sod awful front gate at the front of my property & put on a brand new wooden one. He's going to let the new wood leech for a little while & then paint it for me. The old one was so difficult to open & close. It's a nice "introduction" to the property now. Such a small thing has made me so happy today.

There's a fair bit of work outside to tackle first & then he'll start on the inside. I'll get there. At least things are finally moving now.

It's a fair amount space up there, (about 5 x 3 metres apparently) so I'll be able to store lots of things like bulky Xmas decos, golf clubs etc.

I catch Spirit with Scout's head in her mouth at least 3 times a day. He's constantly grooming himself when he can get away from her to settle all the spikey wet fur. Obviously Spirit isn't hurting the wee lad with her jaws & he bats her away when he just can't breathe any more from his head being stuffed in her mouth. He's clearly a very understanding little fellow.

Awesome. Guarantee on the work from the ladder company??? Looks sweet the staircase, but you be ruddy careful going up and down there Lynnie!

Window will make the world of difference, I love attics. Takes me way back...
