Lol. Husband is a joiner, so we kind of get started when we see kitchens.

Logan has opened the kutchen cupboards a few times and taken out stuff she thinks she could/would have fun with...like garbage bags, flyswatter, pot holders etc.
I've known a few GSD who seem to have this thing about opening the kitchen cupboards like a toddler.

Was finally able to take the cupboard locks off since my 2.5yo son stopped trying to get into them, looks like I'll have to keep them handy though just in case. It's amazing the things they think would make great toys haha.

Yeah, it is. Often the more dangerous, the more enticing. Sigh.

Gemma's a bit of a counter surfer too.

Although she has learnt to listen for our footsteps in an attempt to stay ahead of us.

Occasionally I'll put a weakened mouse trap on the bench top, by weakened I mean I stretch the spring so it snaps but won't hurt her if it gets her.

This normally deters her for a few months.

I save it for just before a party because she can reach the table without putting her feet on it.

No plans to at this point in time. We live in semi-rural/rural place that has nothing for dogs other than a once a week obedience class.
We're hoping to move in about another year so I'm hoping they have alot more on offer there. Need to utilise that intelligence
