Bloody hell i'm saddened by the 1st pic, it makes me shed a tear to see dogs in such horrible condition.

So glad to hear that you have saved another dog & happy to see the handsome boy being bought back to a healthy condition, good on you for dedicating your time to saving needy dogs

Sadly DGP, I have to say that I can guarantee that there will be another very worthy candidate for you to adopt in or after November. Thats just the way it is, it is never ending

You're right, it is very sad how they pop up.

I must say..It's very sad to see what is an expensive purebreed end up in shelters so often. I guess I thought if you spent thousands on a dog you'd love it.

Doesnt always work like that sadly DGP, they are such a wonderful breed, and so faithful, the high maintenance is worth every dollar that you have to spend and every minute of extra time caring, playing, and then loving them to bits.

Oh my, just look at the difference 2 or 3 weeks of TLC can make! He is absolutely stunning, congratulations on doing such a great job on him. And it's so true about many rescues being appreciative - despite the hard work, the late nights and the emotional up and downs, one look from them is all the reward you need.

The joys of their forever homes must make it worth seeing the horror of their previous 'homes'

This is exactly what you focus on when they are being surrenderd by someone who obviously couldn't care less about them but who could also win an academy award for the performance they are putting on about surrendering.

You just stand there and think "future....future....future"
