    sorry to go OT
No, not unusual from this particular group of shelters, I believe they have a lot of vets "in training" there hence the over correction. But being such an unusual breed, many many vets will only ever deal with one or two pei in their entire working lives, which doesn't mean they are not a great vet, it just means they don't have pei experience and some believe that ALL pei need entropion - true story! I actually spoke with one vet nurse last week about Diesel and she said and I quote " well if he is a Shar Pei then of course he would need an entropion"! I corrected her as nicely as possible but I was screaming o the inside lol

Also my understanding is that the shelters who release an entire dog will only do so to rescue orgs who undertake to have the dog desexed by their own vet. THis is my experience anyway, but I would be surprised if a shelter would ever release an entire dog to a member of the public.

Divine Miss Bella my fat A*se!!!

The little toad(ette) has just forgone her evening walk because she wouldn't stop carrying on like a pork chop outside our front gate. The only reason I can think that caused this nawty behaviour is that I had already been for a walk with Gomez and Noah and perhaps she thought she was missing out??? Really weird. Anyway we took everyone else out and she had to stay at home. I think I will wait until dark and take her out off lead then. That way she can run some of her nawtiness off. Little BEAST!

Thanks that makes more sense then.

Perhaps it is something in the air or the alignment of the moons. Hamish and Yuna were doing laps around the house earlier and carrying on while I was on the phone
