    Default Pics of Zac.

I noticed that Aussie said that there is only one Border collie on the forum so thought I'd better set her straight. I have one called Zac. He is 3 years old and a lovely boy. This is his baby pic....brought him home at 5 weeks.

This pic was taken from inside my bathroom. Don't know what they were all waiting for...mebbe a bath...

    Thanks Aussie.
Feeding.....I buy a 20 kg bag of kibble, lasts about 3 weeks and costs $32. Each day they have something different on the kibble...ie sardines, raw egg, cheese. Once a week they have 2 cans of Natures Gift which I also put on their kibble and mince/chicken pasta once a week.
Worming...I have them all on Interceptor Sentinel and give one of those every 6 weeks. My vet also gives me discount on treatments and vaccinations.
I am on 5 acres so a few of them get their exercise from running around the property. The BC has a track worn. . I regularly walk the GSD as she goes to obedience. I try to walk the others at least once a week. The silky x runs around like a maniac but I don't take him out now as he's blind. Hope that answers your questions.

I love that one also. I don't often take the camera in the bathroom with me. I now have to close the door when I shower as the GSD jumps in with me...very messy!!

Paddy, GSD x Maremma, was 4 weeks old and he and his siblings were rejected by their Mum. The owners were elderly and couldn't cope with 10 puppies so they had to let them go or put them down.
Emma, lab x poodle....her dad, a golden lab, jumped the fence and romanced the show poodle resulting in 6 pups much to the owners disgust. It was also a case of finding homes or shooting them...why do people threaten these things???
Oscar, silky x,...was a stray at the SPCA. He was 3.
Cody, spaniel x...had to find a home as he was a wanderer and the owners were afraid of his being run over. Obviously hadn't heard of a fence. He was 9 months old. Mind you, 3 weeks after I took him they acquired a Dalmation...
Gus, bichon x shih tzu...came from a shelter. He was a pet shop boy and was accused of snapping at the owners 6 year old child by the child. They feared for the life of their newborn babe..They paid $700 for him, I paid $20 and is the best dog. He comes to work with me at the Aged Care Home.
Khai, Pharoah Hound...dumped by his breeder at a shelter. Took his collar and lead off and said find him a home. When I phoned the owner re vacc etc, they didn't have a clue so I guess they didn't do anything. He went to 4 foster homes and spent at least 6 months at the shelter.
Boscar...rescued from a couple who physically abused him. He is Paddy's brother and been with us for over 3 years now.
Zac....given to me by a friend who breeds them after my 9 month old BC was shot.
Akira...flew up from Melbourne from a breeder. Always wanted a GSD. She was bred as a working dog but was too soft....my gain!!

That is my pack and I love 'em all to bits...

Oops, yes they do have the run of the property. My 3 close neighbours all have dogs so they gather together and play.
