    Default Lap Dogs....

.... are not always small, fluffy dogs.... and sometimes can be used as a table for a laptop....

Believe me, she loves it. She was snoring while this pic was taken...

    Hmm

The reason those things are now called NOTEBOOKs is that if a man uses one on his lap he can cook his gonads. They can get VERY hot - like 60'C or more underneath, and a dog underneath would block the ventilation fan too. You want to check the temp of the computer every 10 minutes or so to make sure it's not getting burny hot. Or put a nice flat hard cover coffee table book between it and your dog. I usually prop the back end up with a few pegs as well to encourage ventilation of the puter - not the dog.

No worries Hyacinth I did check that it was not getting to hot. I wouldn't do it with my laptop because that one gets pretty hot but OHs mac is fine. And I was only reading something for 2 minutes on his mac....

So no one was harmed before, while and after this picture was taken.....

    Glad to hear it Hippo.

The way my dog sunbakes - I think I'd smell burning fur before she decided it was too much.

Hahahaha, great pic. One of my cockatiels sits beside my notebook when it is half on the wide side of my lounge chair and on my leg too. She finds the warmth there nice in cool weather.
