    Default Bliss

In just under one month Jilly has gone from absolutely terrified of me to now adoring me I can now pat her all over without hesitation (she especially loves belly rubs). I can walk her on a lead easily, I can also let her off leash around the farm, she has a brilliant recall!

She met Koda (both on leads) face to face the other day, it went really well, he was so relaxed around her. I'd soooo love to let them off together to play but I still don't know If i'm game, I might try a long lead on Koda first.

Other than that, Jilly is very happy now

I'm going to attempt to give her a bath soon, she's covered in mud from the farm, such a little grot!

Have you tried brushing the mud off - she really might not like you if you give her a bath - tho most dogs I've bathed have forgiven me if I've used warm water.

I could try that, but its really caked in there thick... pretty normal with farm dogs around here at this time of year. I am currently bathing Koda every 2-3 weeks just to keep the mud off him! Brushing helps to a point, but it doesn't get it all.

We'll see... she doesn't seem to mind the mud (she loves playing in it) so maybe I could just leave it to fall of by itself.

But yes, only nice warm water is used here for bath time
