    Default Sleeping fine

Maggie is 14kgs so not carrying much weight and small for a BC. Winter is a quest for warm. When I visited my sister I discovered they all bedded their dogs under small doonas. I thought it was funny until this winter when Maggie was shivering so I succumbed. Now she is the picture of warm. I added the one of her on a walk just so you could see she doesn't sleep all the time. May yet have to buy her a coat. Her mother had never been inside a house, different for the offspring!

Mine hate being covered and curl up in tight balls with their noses tucked in their tails! even when there is frost on the ground, and my old cattle dog refuses to come into the room with the fire, she finds it too hot, I often find her lying on the tiles even in mid winter. They do all have comfy beds though if they choose.

My dog does love to hog the fan heater in this office. Other times she stands around in the back yard in the rain like she can't feel the cold at all. Go figure.

Roxy was initially very suspicious of the fireplace. She didn't go anywhere near it but learned since how nice it is to have the bed right in front of it. Now they race for the best spot in the house. At night they sleep in our bedroom on their own beds. Nero likes being tucked in so he gets covered in his blanket. Roxy usually comes into the bed sometime during the night and curls up on OH's pillow gently kicking him off.
