Default Dodge and Koda having fun!

    Prepare for photo overload guys!

"Do I have to wear this, It looks so stupid!" (I found an old dog jumper, figured i'd test it on Dodge )

    "This is so humiliating!!"

"I'm gonna get ya, Dodge, I'm gonna get ya!!"

"Must herd Koda.... Must herd Koda..."

    "I'm gonna bite your cheek!"

"How dare you bite my face like that!!"

    Bouncing off the deck

"I'm coming through, better look out!"

Drink time (Koda sticks his whole nose in the water to drink, he also blows bubbles lol)

    "You coming Dodge?"

    "Yeah yeah i'm coming"

Great photos, seems like you are really getting into your photography, it's a wonderful to develop. Yeah that jumper is definitely fun for us but not so much for Dodge's dignity.... Your two play just like mine - I love watching it and always gives me a laugh, but you don't want to get in the way when they play-snap with each other. Saffie even attacks Oscar's legs until he stumbles and rolls over so she can go for his jugular, always makes me reflect on what an amazing job humans and dogs have done in redirecting natural behaviours from hunt and kill to play and fun. I guess we have managed to capture that time when young pups/wolves use play to hone their hunting and fighting skills and turned it into lifelong behaviour.

Thanks I'm really into photography, these aren't my best shots, I just took these to show how the dogs play, haha

Koda bites Dodges legs too! Although Dodge never gives in, she just snaps back at him or runs away from him. I love watching them play, they just ooze joy when they're playing

I meant to say "wonderful skill to develop" but won't edit my post for fear of appearing a grammar nazi.....(though maybe I am). Oscar gives in to Saffie everytime 'cos he's such a pushover - but only where she is concerned. And yes, the joy is gorgeous to watch. It's especially evident here at the moment when we have a brief respite from the unrelenting heat (15 C at night, brrr) and the dogs turn onto puppies again. They play all year round but this brief Dry Season spell really gets them going.

15 C at night?!?! You're lucky, I wish it was that warm here. Where I live, this time of year its an average of a high of 10 C in the middle of the day and around 3 C at night. Not nice weather at all, horrible to work in if you have outdoorsy type work like my family do.
