You're welcome to share the link if you like Hya. I have seen mention of the Adelaide group on DOL but haven't seen their FB page.

Oh that's my girl. I bred this litter for a girl, she's my pick and I couldn't be more excited about her. She has her own crate in the house and just loooves being the special princess!!

Her name is "Lovely Rita". This litter are named after Beatles songs and albums as their dad is "Sgt Pepper" and their mum lies on her back all the time - nickname "Beetle dog".

I am loving all the photos - thank you 'Nattylou' !
    Some questions (
    ) - sorry I really can't help myself !

How many were in the litter and what breakdown between M & F ?

What was the average weight of a pup from the litter at birth ?
Can't believe I am going to ask this - but here goes - how much do they weigh now at 9 weeks ?

Oh they are just stunning! I love the picture of Mummy and tiny babies, she looks so proud!

There is no psychiatrist in the world like a puppy licking your face.

    The pictures are all georgeous!

They are such a regal and noble looking dog.

I must say i think the dad is an absolute stunner. Just love his colouring on his face and he looks so calm cool and collected.
If you think dogs can't count, try putting three dog biscuits in your pocket and then giving Fido only two of them. ~Phil Pastoret

this is the Adelaide Lure coursing for not greyhounds facebook page
    https://www.facebook.com/groups/294441020692066/

A few from the QLD group have joined too.

What state are you in, NattyLou, and are all the puppies spoken for or do you want enquiries? They can join here and Pm you if they're interested. otherwise I can post the link and say they're spoken for but cute to look at.

There were 12 in the litter - 9 males and 3 females. The strangest thing about that is that my last litter was exactly the same. Bizarre. Admittedly the mums are half sisters and the sire is the same but still - what are the odds??

Average weight at birth is around the 350-400g mark. This litter were very even at birth with no tiny ones (runts). Last litter we had two tinies, who caught up fast and have both grown up to normal size. I'll track down some tiny baby photos later that give a good idea of how small they are - like little guinea pigs! So they are at high risk of being squashed by mum, especially when there are a whole lot of them. I sleep by the whelping box for the first two weeks... It's an exhausting time!

I haven't weighed them this week but Rita was 7kg at 8 weeks when she was at the vet (she got hurt...) and that was a 1kg gain in a week. The big boys are heavier as well. So at this age I would guess 9-10kg for the big ones, and 8-9kg for the smaller ones.

Too heavy to pick up more than one at a time!

There are a couple of boys still available, I'm in NSW near the ACT. They can contact me through here - or via Dogzonline where I have a litter notice.
