Thanks guys. Half the time he looks like a fruit bat with his ears. I've just weighed him as good as i can using the bathroom scales and he's about 35 kilos or so now so guessing he'll be a big boy.

Thanks Sammie-leigh. It probably seems weird that i'm comparing feet size but my old girl who i'm comparing his with has fairly big feet and weighs about 50kilos so i'm trying to figure out how big he'll be.

It's not weird at all, i do with it our 3, our youngest, Compton, has the biggest feet and is the biggest one out of all of them, same breed just bigger in size. Are both yours the same breed? Some breeds just have big feet, but aren't always necessarily 'big' dogs when you compare them with some other breeds.

I appear to somehow have miscalculated Zeus's age. He is now 6 and a half months old.
He went and got desexed today.
He had to have stitches in three different places as one of his testicles hadn't descended and they had to look for it in a couple of different places.
The OH told the vet that he had been patting him on the bum in the hope it would drop down but hadn't had any success.

Kodi, my old girl came along too and got vaccinated as well as some tablets to help with her arthritis. We had to wait around in town for about six hours until Zeus was ready to be picked up( our vet is about an hour and a half away from where we live).
I think Kodi enjoyed her time away without Zeus, with him being a typical annoying puppy. She had a great time swimming down the beach.
She was so lovely with him on the car ride home. Maybe she could sense he was not well as she let him lay with his head on her paws all the way home.

I did finally get to weigh them both properly at the vets and Kodi is now 46 kilos with Zeus coming in at 45 kilos. I may have to stop calling him "my little man" now lol.
