Zeus is nearly nine months old so thought I'd update his photos. He's outgrown my old girl, he's about an inch higher than her and weighs in at about 55 kilos.

'tkandz' - Thank you sooo much for all the photos of your gorgeous 'little man' !

I have just caught up with this tread and enjoyed reading it !

55 kg - that is a hell of a lot of pup there - and more to come by the looks of it ! Though he will always be your 'little man' - it's what is between his ears that count and looking at his breed mix - it could be a while before he matures.

I still have grave doubts sometimes whether Riley has grown a brain yet - and he is now 6 years old ! I live in hope !

Have heaps of fun with him - he joins the Hunks of the forum !

    Thanks guys
I think he's grown as tall as he will get, he's just starting to fill out now.

He is definitely still a puppy in the mind. The other night he was growling at something and i went to look thinking there might be someone he could see outside, turns out there was a moth about the size of a ten cent piece on the floor He wouldn't go anywhere near it.

Sometimes i swear my old dog Kodi just looks at him as if to say "are you ever gunna grow up?" and then at me asking why the hell i got him lol

What a beautiful big boy he is!
Does he try to sit on your lap?
He is looking more Mastiiff (around the chops) now that he is maturing.
    Very handsome fella.

    Thanks all.
He is slowly maturing and getting out of the puppy brain stage. He has stopped chasing his own tail, but will occasionally attack his own back foot. He growls at it cause it kicks him and he can't seem to work out that he's controling it

He has stopped humping the pillows off my bed. He was doing this in my bedroom then was taking them out into the loungeroom and we thought he was becoming and exhibitionist as he was then taking them out onto the deck to have his way with them.

He still chases moths and flies. He has on occasions rolled off the bed in the middle of the night.

He has become very vocal and likes to talk to you a lot. He gets on really well with Kodi and has stopped anoying her(trying to bite her back legs and grab hold of her tail).
She is very tolerant of him but will pull him into line if he needs it.

It was a challenge having a big dog who still had a puppy mind. He used to want to chew up everything and even the kitchen table wasn't high enough to keep things out of reach.
He doesn't chew things any more thank dog.
He doesn't sit on me but loves to lean on you. He will walk along next to you and if you stop for some reason he will stop and then he leans on you.

He is very much my shadow and follows me everywhere. He can be very sooky and if he hurts himself with hold up the injured limb so you can rub it better, even if it is just a scratch.
Oh and i noticed in my last post i thought he had stopped growing in height. Well he hadn't. He has out grown Kodi by about 5 inches. He's about 80cm tall at the withers and roughly 75 kilos.
