    Default Christmas is coming

I was shopping for new toys for Dex yesterday and came across a whole stand of christmas toys and bits and pieces for pets. I've been wanting to find a small santa hat for him to take a photo to use as a christmas card, so this is perfect, even has elastic to hold it in place. He was a little confused about the giant cone on his head, but at least he sat still long enough for a snap shot. I have a feeling it's going to take a while to get a decent shot in the studio without him trying to shake it off his head. I got a small pair of antlers too, so I'll give those a shot as well

Feel free to post photos of your pets getting in the holiday spirit too if you've got any!

Oh Lordy what a cutie BT, that's a great pic!!

I bought some antlers last year but can't find them (Ruby has probably buried them ). I'm not game to go to the shop after my 4 (little) online shopping trips to Cleanrun recently while they've had so many toys, balls, etc with free postage but maybe I'll just quickly go and get a Santa hat for her...

    LOL Matty

I went to our local christmas supplies shop (teddy bears the rest of the year). and there were loads of hats and costumes and related stuff.

Frosty always rips it to pieces. I have the rope arms from a santa elf, and a red hat with no pom pom... I looked today longingly at the deer antlers - but I don't think I could get Frosty to wear those - or have any respect for myself as an owner if she let me photograph her in them. I guess I need a Christmas Bandana for her - oh wait. I definitely do not want a christmas Hanky (South park ref).

I saw heaps of things at the Reject Shop, even stockings for dogs and cats.
I thought for a minute, what do the factory workers in China making these goods think.
Australians buy presents for Dogs and cats ???
I could not resist so I bought Antlers and a HO HO bone chew for Snoopy.

The Christmas Hanky episode was the last one for me. Loved all the ones before that - way better than the Simpsons - can't watch that at all.

Mr Hanky was way too unhygenic for me - I'm from a long line of health workers who strongly believe in hand washing...
