    Default Nothing To Really Say

No Samson is no longer with us, why? Well honestly, I don't really feel like discussing it but lets just say it's been a very rough last few weeks and there has been enough tears shed. However, after it was all set in done I have some amazing soon to be inlaws who made it all better... I haven't been here because of that, not that it matters to anyone but here are some pictures to enjoy.

When I was in the states I volunteered at a rescue center for almost four years, I specialized (meaning I took classes, and seminars based around) Giant Breed dogs and I fell in love with the Great Danes. Up until now I had never been in a position to own one, so when what happened with Samson happened my fiance and his parents put their heads together and started asking around at Dog Shows and came across a breeder. They got together and purchased her as my early wedding present and surprised me on one of the days I was REALLY down by taking me out to Brighton to pick her up. I might share sooner or later, but I am still kind of ... upset about how everything turned out, and feel betrayed.

    Her name is Meika.

    So sorry!
I understand that you don't want to discuss what has happened... although i do hope you will feel up to talking about it eventually!
On another note... Meika is truly gorgeous!... i have recently discovered i have a real soft spot for Great danes!
I never used to like them, but not long ago some friends of mine got a gorgeous blue boy... and i just adore him! don't have to bend over to pat him

So sorry CH. It sounds like you've been on a real emotional roller coaster. I can understand it being too painful to talk about right now. When you can, it will mean you have started processing it and you will be through the worst of it.

I'd be quite upset if someone chose a pup for me after I had just lost one.

But it would be impossible to not love him! How is Maddex coping?

{{{Hugs}}} to you, and as a community, we are all here for you when {or if} you are ready to talk about it.

Meisha is absolutely gorgeous, and the photography is superb... the one of her running on the beach - breathtaking. I hope she is able to help heal your broken heart, one tail wag at a time.
