something my pup can do! lol but when it was our turn he just looked at me like an idiot
Mine did the same. Except - she'd show off how clever she was, but when I needed her to do it - I was the idiot. So they all knew she could do it and was just picking her moments. It's all about habitat (where are you and what are you doing?) and distractions. Ie to get a more reliable sit, you need to practice in as many different places as you can think of, doing as many different things as you can think of (will puppy sit if you ask while you're sitting on the ground? lying down? running around?) and with loads of distractions (start small and easy and work up). Mine can't hold a sit if I throw the ball, but she can hold it *before* I throw the ball - which took some work.

Our puppy school - the vet/superviser expected the Groodle to be in charge as she was in the previous week but with a new group of puppies - including a malamute - she was under her owner's chair. Frosty was in charge - including of the malamute which was about 4 times her size. Class clown puppy. Malamute was pee a lot, everywhere, every week. Teenage owners were told to withhold water from it before class but they either forgot or it made no difference.

The puppy pre-school we went to wouldn't allow the pups to interact, they had to remain leashed and settled at all times. Apparently to ensure that none of the pups had a bad experience which could cause lifetime fears. Misha hated it! All she wanted was to interact with the other pups!

That sux Grevillea...puppy preschool i thought, was all about socialisation. Oskar was pretty good, when he wasn't trying to hump the lab staffy in his class (who was male lol). They got a bit boistrous at off leash time...oh and Sean, it is hard to believe Mojo was ever so little, looking at those photos, even though it wasn't at all that long ago lol.

The puppy school we are taking busa to tell you to let the dogs of the lead all the time! except if a dog is being overpowering to the other dogs then he goes back on a lead for a little bit so the other dogs aren`t scared then he comes back off

And for the hell of it here is another pic of the busa taken today!
