    Default My Bear.

I was helping a friend rehome a dog. His owner had passed away 6 weeks ago and her husband could no longer care for him.
I met him and took some photos and he was gorgeous.
One of my friends decided to give him a go to see if he got along with his dogs, it went well to begin with but one became increasingly aggressive to Bear. After a bloody fight I went and picked him up.
He spent the afternoon with my boyfriend and I and we fell in love with him. We tried to introduce him to Roxy but she wanted nothing to do with him.
I took him to my house and Kimba was tolerant but wasn't impressed having to share me..lol Other than that they have been getting along fine.
I will give him a few more days to settle in and if all goes well we will officially adopt him.
He has the most adorable face! He is a Shar Pei x Staffy, 2 years old & desexed, microchipped, vaccinated etc

Love the photos, give them another couple of months and they'll be sleeping right next to each other ... I'm a bit of a sucker for brindle dogs, love them

Congratulations on your new fur-baby ... looking forward to more photos!

Bear is still pretty cautious around Kimba, She has been keeping him in line over the last few days.
I was taking a photo of him yesterday and he grabbed my camera neck strap and she got quite upset and chased him away. When we go to bed he stands at the door and waits for her to lie under the blanket before he will jump up. She has been great to start training him, he was so quick to learn some basic commands today by watching her.
Today she finally lay down with him. They have all settled down massively today. Buddy finally started playing with Bear, Kimba has never really played with toys. She will pick Buddys ball up when he wants it and just hold it so he cant reach it..lol
Here are more photos! I even was given another 2 baby photos. There's also one of his mum Mishka.

Just spamming some more Bear photos.. I love this guy so much, he is such a fun dog and he has settled in so much.
Kimba accepts him now and they have formed a truce that they will now sit 1 either side of me rather than barge each other out the way.
He has started obedience training and it has made the world of good to him. He is such a smart boy. He split his claw on Thursday so we were at the vet on Friday to have it fixed.
Poor guy has been limping around since.
I also posted a video being mean to him with the kids zhu zhu hamster things. He wasnt sure what to make of them. ZhuZhu Zebra vs Bear - YouTube
I have a few more videos to post up of him soon.
