I have had cattle dogs for twenty years now and have come to feel that they are not really dogs - they are so human.
My Chubb passed on 8/6/2011. Thats him on the beach.
I treasure every memory of every day I spent with him.
He was our baby and he lived only to please us and look after us. The most gentle boy. He watched over baby chickens and ducklings and was over the moon with joy when we brought our kitten (Scat) home from the pound. That kitten was always wet as Chubb loved grooming him. We now have a pup from the pound that could be Ziggys brother (looks wise) he is a nice dog but we will always miss our little boy. Rest in Peace little baby.

This is Snoop - cattle collie cross according to AWL.
He is not showing the traits of an ACD.
Bitey and defiant at times. An angel if there is the possibility of food on offer. We go to obedience etc.
He was so good at first but tearing my hair out lately.
There is a dog trainer coming for a home visit tomorrow.
I have to go and walk him now. He is barking at Hubby and being a Sh''t.

Thanks for your kind thoughts. gerry.

Murphy is just stunning - a beautiful boy.
He will grow into a very handsome dog.
I have attached a baby photo of Chubb.
Another of Snoop at puppy school (play lunch time).

    Hi All,

this is my red cattledog Gypsy. She's about 18 months and we love her.

She comes with us everywhere we go, comes out camping with us and loves it.

Love your 3 pooches Di Dee.
I have been drooling over them for some time now.
You are so lucky to have the love x 3.
How do you make a sig like that?

I have applied to working dog rescue to adopt a young boy named Digger.

Digger's profile at PetRescue - is he your new best friend?
He will be a great mate for snoop (and me!)
