    Default Saffie & Oscar update

Some photos from the past few months. Saffie is now 8 months old, still a total cutie. She absolutely loves Oscar, though is very cheeky to him - she will often manipulate a situation so she can steal his bone, stick or toy and then tease him mercilessly by then going up to him with it and rubbing it all over his face - even putting it in his mouth and pulling it out again. Oscar just turns his head away..... and steals it back at the earliest opportunity.

She went through a stage of being quite frightened by strange dogs at the beach but just lately I've been glad to see her gaining confidence and starting to play with them.

Beautiful dogs guys. I love working BC's.
I have a woman i meet in the mornings who walks 3. 2 of which are so friendly to my 2, the 3rd, the old gal and alpha in this pack, generally allows all dogs to have a romp, then barks to scare mine off, rounds up her 2 litter mates, and drives them away from us. Hilarious as i watch the owner being moved, inch by inch by her eldest dog. She natters away, totalling oblivious to the fact that she is being rounded up lol

Welcome Jess&Mia, very cute pup. My "pup" Saffie is now 2 years old but still a cheeky little tomboy. Here is a photo of her smelling some birdsh*t at the Botanical Gardens (dog friendly in Darwin) and then shaking after rolling in it......

And of course there's Oscar, the dignified 6 year old. I tell people he started going grey after he got the young blonde girlfriend.

Most of the time Saffie rules the roost but when we are out and about Oscar has very strict rules over behaviour - she is allowed to play with any dog smaller than her but anything bigger brings out the cranky boss in Oscar, both Saffie and the other dog get disciplined.

I might be a bit late but I just found this part of the forums. Both my dogs are border collies but they are still puppies.
I got one of them a week ago.

    Tablet Pics 395.jpg

    Well,

My Mia turns 1 in 11 days. I am very excited to give her the birthday present I got for her She has grown into such a beautiful girl and has such a lovely nature, but I cant believe how fast the first year has gone.

Does anybody do birthday cakes for their dog? I am thinking of making a her a meatloaf cake with mashed potato for the icing
