Default Female Kelpie pup name ideas

We pick up our girl this Friday but we need some ideas for names.
She red and tan in colour.
I'm not a huge fan of having people names as dog names.
I preferably would like something country/australian name, but open to all ideas .

    Any suggestions?
    Thanks!!!

I always have to wait until I get the puppy as some names don't work even though I like them
Kylah attractive one from the strait; crown, victorious; aboriginal name of a river
    Cachet
Calea, Caeleah, Caelee, Caelei Arabic, hebrew, old english
    Cailida Adorable
    Macalla Full moon

from aboriginal name ideas seeing as she is Australian..lol

    Hi Ammo

    What's her personality like?

I like Dusty - for red kelpies.

    And names from the weather...
So I'm thinking names that suggest red, and high energy...
Ranga - is topical, red and a bit naughty. Also sounds a bit like "ringer" which is a worker in a shearing shed - as in Click go the shearers.
    Rocket - for Woomera
Rusty - not sure if there is a girly version of that.
Bluey - just because she isn't.
Opal - the fire opals are the most expensive...
    Jasper - red rock
    Ruby - more red rock
    Rosie
    Toffee
Shiraz - another red I like...
    Clarrie (for Claret).
    Scarlet
    Amber
    Jaffa
    Blaze/Flame
Chilli - guaranteed a ballistic dog...
Cirrus (name of a cloud - but sounds nearly the same as Sirius - the name of the dog star).
some kelpies trace back to "the red cloud kelpie".

Kelpie is also a name for spirit or pixie - I think.
So Spirit and Pixie and maybe Min Min would be good names.

We have decided on a name.... It kinda goes against all of what I said first haha!
But we have decided on Tessa I think it suits her very well.

She is such a beautiful girl, very friendly!

    Thanks for your help everyone!!

Sometimes you have the right name all lined up - or too much choice...

and the when the puppy arrives, it picks its own name. Or the GF does.

    Not worth arguing about...

Tessa is a good name to yell across a paddock.
