Good news ... Kenzie and Abby have settled in nicely together. There haven't been anymore tiffs. Kenzie has learned not to annoy the other dogs and they're all playing well. YAY!!! Just to be on the safe side, I'm not leaving them alone unsupervised for more than an hour at a time still.

I just got those jackets for them, on sale for only $10 each!

I've tried sweaters and other jackets, but these are the best by far! They're similar in style to a horse blanket: they have velcro straps across the chest and under the belly and they have two elastics for the the hind legs to go through. They seem very secure, comfortable, and easy to wash

Glad this turned out well and they have accepted the new member of your family.

I highly recommend visiting K9 Pro website and read Steve's section on how to break up a dog fight safely using a leash.
Its common sense, safer to do than other interventions. Nothing can remove the risk to you/your dog, but this technique can greatly improve chances of safety.
I wont write it up, and its detailed, and worth reading yourself.
I have practiced the technique with my GSD, and can do it very well now. Bless bernie for letting me lol
