    Default Haveeeeee you met Bear?

    Hello! I'm Mia
I thought joining a dog forum would be a good idea as I love dog discussions and feel several opinions can give a very balanced view! I've read some really helpful threads and already have some admin advice (thanks Jade!)

I'm from SA and own a 7month old male crossbreed. We adopted him from the RSPCA, he was the only white pup in a litter of about 7 black puppies, all found abandoned with no mother, so sad He started off pure white with spotty paws, to now a very spotty dog with black ears. I suspect a working breed as he has high energy levels and is very intelligent and keen to learn.

    Any guesses to his breed?

    Hi Mia.

    Welcome to the forum.

He looks familiar. Ever met a near twin at Somerton Beach? Breed Guess BC (Border Collie) x Koolie x ACD (Cattle dog)

(note she was just trying on red for fun)

PS Koolie here. Many Koolies have blue eyes or part blue eyes but I don't think they all do.

He's so cute! I was going to guess border collie x cattle dog! sucks that he had a rough start to life, but it will only get better now that he has you!

    Hi Hyacinth!
I think I remember her actually, we took Bear to the beach during the hot December months (she's one of the few Blue Heelers I've encountered) and wasn't afraid to play with Bear! Bear usually intimidates dogs, even bigger dogs with his high energy levels!

edit: Koolie seems like a good guess, he has some similar colouring but maybe his dad was a cross himself! We've guessed maybe BC, Blue Heeler or even Kelpie. I've always been a bit sad to split him up from his litter but I couldn't handle two puppies with this much energy!

    Hi Mia and Bear

My guess at Bears breed is.......... a spotted cuddle munchkin with a waggly tail who gives sloppy puppy kisses. !!
