    Smile Hiya

    Hello everyone,
I just joined this forum and thought I should introduce myself quickly. I live in Melbourne and I am the proud owner of Ziggy!!! She is a rescue dog and we have her since December last year. She is a gorgeous dog!!! We got her thinking she is a lab/ great dane X but it turns out she actually is a rotti crossed with a bit of everything (we did a DNA test...). As I already said she is simply gorgeous!!
So far from me. I am going to check out this forum a bit further before Ziggy and I have to had off to our agility class .
    Speak to yous soon!

    Hello there hippo & Ziggy!

Aww gotta love the rescue dogs

Do you mind if I ask how much the DNA test cost? I was thinking about that a while ago but gave up on the idea. You could PM me if you would prefer...

Hi Hippo and welcome to you and Ziggy. Love your avatar. Good for you for rescuing her. I am new here as well and have been made feel very welcome.
The more people I meet, the more I like my dogs.

    Welcome.

I'd love to test the accuracy of these tests... I have heard many people say they give false results more often than not.

    from the website...

Our breed signatures have been generated from over 20,000 known pure breed dogs. We are confident that our breed signatures are an accurate representation of the breeds we claim to detect. Our databases and breed signatures are being continually updated with new breeds and additional reference samples so that we can continue to provide our clients with the most accurate results. Currently, BITSA proudly maintains greater than 95% accuracy for all its test results.

They would be pretty silly to say the test gave incorrect results on the website

If I ever have spare cash hanging around Id test them still.

These tests are pretty reliable if you have the database to compare the results to (which this company seem to have).
