My dogs never get fed near each other, it is just common sense with larger breed dogs. I feed them at the same time but around the corner from each other. Sometimes I just feed separately as I let them out for toilet in the mornings etc.

Phi can be a bit possessive with toys.
A good way to counteract toy guarding is to put out LOTS of toys so the dog guarding can't guard all the toys. This is what we do to counteract dogs who guard water bowls, we just put out 5 or 6 around each other and the dog will just give up.

But never leave the dogs unsupervised together with toys. (Actually they shouldn't ever be left unsupervised together anyways for so many reasons)

I've been rather lucky with toys, Harley is only interested in balls and Bella likes everything else but doesn't give a toss about balls!

Harley will try and stick up to 3 in his mouth at once so that only he has them!

Lots of toys is a must though, and some new toys so that Nala doesn't get miffed that all of "her" toys are being given to the new guy.

There is no psychiatrist in the world like a puppy licking your face.

I'm very lucky with my 2.. They eat and drink from the same bowl, and play together with the same toys either chasing each other or playing tug o war with longer toys.
