Default Hello Hello! (From a Brand New Puppy Owner!)

My name is Leisa and I have just entered my second day with my gorgeous Boston Terrier girl Banksie (pictured below). Hubby and I did extensive research and fell in love with the breed. We had to be interviewed and waitlisted before our girl became available but she is finally here!

I have always been a dog person but am now newly married in a new home and this is the first puppy I've raised on my own.

As challenging as it is, I find it so rewarding and can't wait to see the dog she will become. I joined here because I figure we'll need as much help as we can get!

Banksie is just beautiful, have to love those big round eyes peering up so innocently. I hope you enjoy the forums and you will get some great pointers.

thank you everyone! i have literally spent the day trawling through all of the useful info on this forum. (inbetween banksie's sleep, play and toilet sessions). it's so refreshing to talk to real people about raising puppies instead of reading books or watching tutorials. at this point i just feel so lucky to have a puppy with such nice energy. she has been a dream so far. our only issue has been trying to housebreak her over a weekend of non-stop RAIN! so annoying! but we finally had some sunshine today and she had a ball outside! it was lovely to see
