    Default Good Afternoon

    Hi Everyone

I have joined this forum as I get a puppy in a few weeks (27 days) and I thought that it might be good to get some tips on raising him and anything else! So hi!

Blenheim - cool. are there any big dogs which particularly go well with the King Charles? I chose King Charles because they seem happy, easy going, get along with other animals, and can make great companions which is what I want because my DF works away 3 weeks at a time (home for one week).

DF though, wants to then get a second dog that is bigger and more of a protective dog since I am on my own all the time. The dogs will be inside/outside dogs, and we have an acre and half for them to play on. Not sure what to look at next... We're going to try and get through puppy school and everything with this dog prior to getting a second.

My Friend breeds Cav's and hers love my newfies and they love her dogs.

I am not saying get a newfie, just that when dogs are given a chance to get to know one another they will get along.

Personally i never get another dog until the one before is trained........makes life much easier
