    Default Hi

Hey everyone. I joined the forum a few weeks back but I finally figured out how to upload photos so I thought it was time to introduce myself and my dog. My name is Alex and I live in Perth. My dog's name is Abby and she is 8 months old. She's a very naughty girl but she's much loved by the whole family. I live with my mum and her partner who has a 12 year old Kelpie who has never been socialised. She doesn't like Abby at all but she has come to accept her. Here's a few pics, she's proven to be extremely hard to photograph but if anyone can guess what breeds she has in her go ahead

Not looking like the impossible-to-tire wrecking ball here, but note the patches of dirt throughout the lawn- her handiwork.

The only side-on shot I could get. What's left of my shoe in the background.

Having a stretch and a yawn.

    With her "friend" Chip.

Cheers guys. I'll see if anyone else wants to have a guess but I'm doubting anyone will get close. I've had one guy get close (got two of the three breeds) but not many others have even attempted.

The ears remind me of an Am Staff. The brindle stripes remind me of Great Dane markings. As for the third... psh i've no clue!

    She's something all right...

Abby is apparently a Rhodesian Ridgeback x Staffy/Bull Terrier. The mother was a purebred RR but I'm guessing the father also had ridgeback in him, or at least some other breeds, because the staffy barely shows through and the BT not at all so far. I've never really been bothered but I often look at her and see some sort of hound. But she's got the crazy endurance of a ridgeback and the jaw strength of a staffy so I guess I'll just go with that.

Hi from one newbie to another.

Your babe is a stunning looking girl.

I am also trying to transfer pics from my old computer to my new laptop so I can work out how to upload some pics here.
Sorry, But better watch out I could come pestering you as I might need some help lol
