You say not to suggest things to you, yet you joined a forum... That's kinda the point of a forum, to learn and have an open mind to others suggestions.

BP; as Brit rightly said; it's a forum, you won't stop people offering their suggestions.... But 'thanks for playing'?... I, personally, feel a little horrified by that statement, sorry, but I just don't see any value in 'knocking out' or 'eliminating' contributors!!

The other point you mentioned was about training dogs; yes, my dogs and I have participated heavily in many types of training. My reason for this is: Training = increase competence
    Increase competence = increase confidence
Increase confidence + competence = increase freedom

Freedom = ultimate reward for dog (ie inclusion in so many more pleasurable activities because dog has ability to make good choices).

I think I'll make that my last twopence worth and walk away, now, too. This forum has already had a big enough 'black plague', I won't contribute to another.

As mentioned there are SOME things that you shouldnt suggest. Have you guys all volunteered? No didnt think so. So before making remarks and suggestions like that then go and do it yourself.

BP; my only suggestion was to have a little grace. That said, I'm perfectly happy to not suggest anything to you from here on. That's probably the best way to make perfectly sure I never offend you.

    Over and out.

Hmm. Before telling people to go and do it themselves, go and do it yourself. If we're not allowed to tell you to do stuff, you shouldn't be allowed to tell us.

Aye yi yi, what's the point.

I don't understand why you suggest people go and work at a shelter when they already know the sad truth about what goes on in there. You're the one that doesn't seem to understand.
I'm going to say, don't be frightened off, because you have so much to learn here. Everyone on the forum will always 'forgive and forget'.

Before I became a vet nurse, I thought Pit Bulls, Rottwielers and Dobes were all naturally aggressive. And I was slammed like hell(in the 'real' world, by people I simply talked too).
I took the time to do my research and admitted I was wrong, I now consider myself a huge promoter of the breeds, especially the Pit Bull.
My Jack Russell X Maltese was from a pet shop. I now know all about the truth of pet shops, and will never ever shop at a pet store that sells live animals.
You can't have a go at someone for not knowing, but its when people refuse to listen or believe. Thats when you get annoyed.

I dont think so. Unfortunately there are many more people who do think like you and there will always be plenty of dogs languishing in the pounds and rescue. Millions of dogs are euthanaised yearly around the world, that is very disturbing to me.

    I am done here too.

So, were you fired from your volunteer job or what?
Its so selfish that you want to breed your dog, just cause you can.

This thread is doing my head in.
