Yes we used to get snow - Choppa would remember too no doubt coming from Blackheath!! Was always best when they would close school for the day or send us home - although the Blackheath kids always got to leave earlier before the highway got blocked - lucky buggers!!
    We certainly did Natty

It doesn't much change does it ?
I think it is one the reasons I love it so much and will always class it as home.

Though Katoomba has expanded a wee bit in the last few years , the heart of it remains untouched.
    Love it!

Did you goto Katoomba High or Columbus?
You know I need to ask that question

I sadly was a St Canopener ( St Canices for those that dont know school dynaimcs lol) and then onto Katoomba High. The hubby was a Gateway boy

    *homesick again*
Remembering sliding down Govettes Leap in the snow on large pieces of card board

Hee hee - Canopeners - we used to sing songs about you guys...

I went to Wentworth Falls Primary and Katoomba High. Now that place doesn't EVER change!!

We used to slide down the hills on Katoomba Golf Course on waxed carboard boxes from the fruit shop.
