Default I Really Must Stop Disappearing!

Hello...again. I really need to stop having to re-introduce myself I'm sure it is getting quite annoying to you all - I know it's annoying me!

I did come with exciting news however, Ori is soon to have a friend and our family is extending! In a few weeks, we have a new Golden puppy coming home. I'm counting down the weeks, actually. Which is awfully silly of me considering she's not born for a few days yet.

She should be born within the next couple of days, and by then I should know around when she's coming home. Name has already been picked out as Jasmine and it's from the same breeder as I had Ori from. Different parents, however. I think I'm becoming the old cliche of "once you've had a Golden, you'll want/have them for the rest of your life!" I honestly couldn't imagine anything else at this point. I love them to death. They are my family, and my life.

That's the happy version, the sadder version is that I almost didn't have Jasmine, or another puppy at all. I found a different "breeder" through the same way I found Ori, and it turned out to be a scam. I found out at the VERY last minute, but thankfully all transaction was stopped and correspondence was cut before losing even more than what I did. The morning I was expecting the puppy to arrive, I found the number for Ori's breeders, which I had lost two years ago. Immediately when I found out about the scam, I had everything cancelled and called them - to find out they had an available litter due within two-three weeks.

I am excited and relieved more than I'm able to explain, but I do urge others out there to be CAREFUL of puppy scams. It seems they really sound legimate and it's a cruel way to pull at heart strings. The money I didn't care about, it was the fact of the heartless person who leads people astray to even someone like me who is not normally a trusting person. They are apparently using newspaper classified advertisements now as well and the authorities sadly can't do much about them but warn people.

That being said though. I believe the last time I was here, I didn't have many photos of my baby boy to share. Now I do!

These were a few photos taken last week:

This one isn't from the last week or two, but it's definitely my favorite.

he is one gorgeous looking goldie I must say, a friend of mine has nothing but goldies, she used to breed them, and she says the same thing, she will never own anything else but goldies from now on :P

    Hi Ori,

Is your goldie bowing or stretching? anyway...very cute.

There is a Photo competition (see under competition section) and do check it out. Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
I love cooking but I love eating even more.

Thank you all for the nice welcome backs! It's good to be back, and I don't see myself going anywhere anymore. Lol. I feel silly bragging about my dogs to most of my family because they just don't get it. (Most aren't dog people besides my brother.)

I have heard that a lot of Golden owners become the same way, Kaz. I never believed I'd fall into the trap as well, but here I am. Of course, if I had the option and means to, I'd probably end up buying a ranch someone à la mode de 101 Dalamations style and have as many dogs as I could handle. Any breed, really. I'm obsessive compulsive with them.

Thank you, Choppa. I certainly will post pictures of her too as soon as she arrives home!

Stretching, hancha. I don't have a lot of "action" shots with him because he is usually much to quick, however that day I snapped it while he decided he was going to stay an extra while, but the blur is still there sadly. Thank you for the information and welcome too! I will definitely check it out.
