Default Introduction and Life Story LOL!

I figured it was better to stuff everything together since I have a chatterbox habit!

Hi All! I'm new quite, so I hope ya'll will treat me kindly

I'm so happy I found a forum like this!

I finally got the time to do an intro (at midnight no less), with me it will be more like a life story but scmeh *shrugs*

I'm um.....hold on a tic whilst I count....24years old (gosh really?) I'm a stay at home mum to 3 skin-kids and two fur-kids in outer Vic.

My Skinnies are A-4, C-2 & E-1 and my Furries are Lila (Lie-Lah) 8 months - a Labrador x Border Collie, from a lovely local man as the result of a true backyard oopsy & newly acquired Benji, a 4 month old Kelpie x Border Collie (Lila's "toyboy" who was adopted from a couple who had to move back overseas)

Um...a little about me. I currently suffer (apparently) from Depression, Anxiety Attacks, Anaemia & a poor immune system (see what kids do to you? ) which between hat & my kids, leave my social life non-existant, so instead I live in "cyberworld"

I have recently admitted that I am a shopping addict & a hoarder (not of animals so don't worry) so am currently trying to self-therapise those two things.

I have owned animals all my life, horses when I was barely days/years old, cats throughout the years, and always have a dog by my side, birds, I even bred rabbits at one point, I spose you could call me an all-round animal lover (with the exception of snakes, spiders, stinging insects & scorpions LOL, anything that injects venom basically) I have fostered and saved from the pounds many dogs, and helped out with rescue shelters, animal shelters & puppy farm raids in NSW. But as per my username, I just want to get back to basics and find out the truth behind all those elaborate lies concocted over the years about general "Commercial" products.

I just want whats best for my furbabies.

I hope to have some lovely new friends here and learn much more about the "pures" of my crossbreeds and just general info.

So I think thats about it from me, see you round the forum!

    xxxx

I have type II bipolar disorder and I'm on an anti-psychotic for it, so I feel you on the anxiety attacks!

Welcome and be sure to post photos of your babies!

    Default Hello from the Sharheads

Welcome to the forum. I have no skin kids - failed at my absolutely last IVF in Feb - I lost my beautiful 12 year old shar pei " molly" to cancer two months later and had the black dog of depression visiting me as well soon after . Good news is that I have adopted a beautiful fur boy called Elwood. He was a godsend . so gentle and loving ... some things are meant to be. I have suffered depression on and off since my teenage years and I am grateful in some aspects to the insight and empathy it has given me. hang in there!!!!

    Welcome,

I know where you are coming from with the depression/anxiety, i've delt with it on and off since i was a teenager and late last year it all came to the surface, The Black dog is an ugly one, but it is possible to beat it to a pulp, you just have to hang in there, it does get easier. I've found that my fur-babies help to no end.

The main thing to remember is that you are worth it.
