Sorry, I just realised my post wasn't clear. I had a dog growing up (Golden Retriever). His name was Sylvester (yes I know, Sylvester the dog - I was about 11 when I got him). He died when he was 11. No idea how, one day he was fine and the next he was gone, the vet said his organs had shut down. Sorry I don't have any photos, it was well before the digital age. There are a few photos at my parent's house, I'll have to ask mum to send me some.

I haven't had the time to dedicate to a dog since so I haven't got one. I've also moved around a lot and not always landed in dog friendly places.
Is this the dog you used to push around in a wheelbarrow? You must have been one strong kid

yes. Not an overly strong kid but wheel barrows make it easy enough to move a load.

You must be really strong! Even now I couldn't push a full grown golden around in a wheelbarrow and I'm 29!

You must have some muscles, and some technique to get him to sit still! No dog of mine would put up with it, let alone sit still for it!

Really? It's only 30 something kg. He was a pretty patient dog. I guess I grew up doing stuff around the yard but I wasn't super kid. I'm surprised an adult can't push 30kg or so in a wheel barrow.
