    Default Hi There

    Just wanted to do a quick introduction...
    I am the adoring mum of a little Maltese x Shih Tzu girl named Suki. She has been with our family for approx 7 months now originally coming from a BYB who used her to pump out puppies. For a little girl who never knew life indoors, never knew walks or how it felt to fall asleep on your lap at night she has certainly gotten used to it very quickly! She was supposed to only stay with us temporarily until we got her desexed and healthy but as my hubby said she was not going anywhere from day one (I just didn't know it yet).
    I am also in the process of researching and deciding on our 2nd dog, so far I have shortlisted it down to a Belgian Shepherd, Standard Poodle, Doberman, Black Russian Terrier, and only the smaller side a Japaneze Spitz or Finnish Lappie. Its so tough as there are so many beautiful breeds out there and there a great qualities in them all that I love!
    Anyway this is a great forum and I look forward to learning from you all and hopefully contributing something in return.

    Hi and welcome to you both!

    They are some stunning breeds that you have picked out! May I ask which type of Belgian Shepherd has caught your eye? Personally, I'm a huge fan of the Groenendaal and the Malinois.

    Hi and thanks for the welcome.

    I have previously owned a Belgian before. A beautiful Groenendael. He was such a switched on boy who loved agility and obedience and was my best friend. It broke my heart to let him go and its kind of really hard to go back there again, but the breed just draws you in. They are definitely on the top of my short list.

    Welcome
    How old was Suki when you got her? Did you pay for her?
    The forum has a Belgian Shepherd/Malinois owner, a Japanese Spitz owner and a Doberman owner, so im sure you can talk to a few people about them.

    Hello. Welcome to the forum.

    An optimist sees the glass as half full;
    A realist just finishes the damn thing and refills it.
