Im also a bike lover who has had the last 8 years off after a mono on my KDX went wrong, something i had done a 1000 times before. Spent the following 12 months learning to walk again and still suffer a fair bit from it today after breaking my leg in 5. However i still love bikes and blame no one but myself.
My latest ride is 2005 Kawasaki ZRX1200. Love being back on the bike.

I love the Zrx bikes! We'll get along just fine. Although my experience with bikes is only about 4 1/2 years in so far. You certainly have the right riding attitude.

May I ask what kind of precautions do you take? (Like, do you need to alter playtime or anything?)

It'll be even nicer when it's been overhauled and sprayed sparkly baby pink!

I've never been asked that before. Only precautions I guess would be that I don't let him off the lead where he can be hit by traffic when outside the yard. He is mostly focussed completely on chasing the ball in the backyard and there is plenty of room here to run around.

I never used to take any within reason, dog was always looking to me to see what was going on. Resonded well to hand commands.

That's actually really interesting. I have a white cat and apparently a lot of them are deaf but Walt isn't. Was just wondering if it affected playing. My dog loved bells and such though so.

Cool. Precautions wasn't the right word. I meant like...Is there limitations apposed to your other dog or does it not really affect?
