I initially read that as "Bitte Mitte", which is encouragement in German.

Hi guys and thanks for the welcome! Yes, Di is a long drive away. She says 15 hrs but she's a leadfoot. It's actually 16 and a bit. Thanks to all of you who have supported her through this journey of pups. I would hope that ALL members of this forum would do the same. To suddenly find a relative's dog in pup during her first season, with it being too late to abort, should bring out the best in all of us. How could any responsible dog owner turn their nose up and and allow the young mother to give birth unassisted! Full kudos to Di and all of you who have helped her through this...

As for our names....just call us Di and De. When I registered, my name had to be at least 4 characters long. Di would have found the same. I've never been called dede , just De, and Di is just Di. lol! Is this as clear a mud? lol

Hi De and a big welcome to you. Look forward to some pics.
The more people I meet, the more I like my dogs.

Sorry, just me again... did anyone notice that when the pups were flat that she rehydrated them with a syringe from the birds first aid kit? How many people who have birds actually have a first aid kit for them????? Di is one of the most responsible pet owners that I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. She may be my sister, but I love her for her compassion and caring nature.

Ps don't tell her I said this about the birds.. As for the scars....did she mention that she specially grew one fingernail and filed it to a point so as to inflict the worst damage?? Ohhh the teenage years lol.

I remember that fingernail, I treasured it, nurtured it.
