To get pictures off my phone I usually just send them in a private message to myself in facebook, then I can go on my computer and save them to my desktop from facebook. I probably lose a bit of quality by doing it that way but it is quick and very easy

Thanks guys, with your assistance I shall learn! When I return to Pb I shall search for the cable.

Aaaagh no pressure is there? Please be patient with your new member. Not on facebook I'm afraid.

Once I've done it a few times, I'm sure I'll be able to bore you with oodles of photos from then on. Look out!

    Welcome Chappiedog

There's a dog training club based in Whyalla that hosts obedience and agility competitions - so I'm guessing they have a lot of enthusiastic trainers there. I'd suggest looking them up and seeing what they can do (but don't let them put a choke chain on your dog - I made that mistake with my first Adelaide club - took 2 years to get her to be happy about going for walks).

This is their facebook page - not sure if you need to be a member...

or the dogs sa contact page - I guess send an sms or phone them

Thanks Hyacinth! You are very kind, I shall contact them soon.

Now, I have photos on computer, but it won't let me paste them into this.

I am trying! Oooh I remember black and white tv too.

Would anyone mind sharing with me, (the ignoramous), How you sign up to Photobucket with an aussie postcode. It doesn't like my 'zipcode'. Thanks for any assistance.

If you'd rather upload photos straight to the forum rather than going through photobucket you can try this

Go to reply to the thread, once you are looking at the page where you can type your message, click on the little paperclip button amongst all the other buttons.

Once you've clicked on the paperclip, it should open up a page where you can select and upload your photos. Click on the 'Add Files' option up the top right. From there you can select the photos you want and upload them.

Once they're uploaded you can click 'Insert Inline' which will put them straight into your post. Until you click 'Submit reply' they will just look like writing.

Hope that helped. I know technology can be hard to understand sometimes!

Good grief Maddogdodge, my ignorance is increasing, I can't see the paperclip. Maybe I should try another day.

When you go to reply, are you simply scrolling down to the bottom of the thread where there is a text box there? That is the quick reply section, which does not have the paperclip option. If you click the button underneath the quick reply text box that says 'Go Advanced' It will take you to the full reply section where you will find the paperclip button
