    Default Hi from Victoria

Just a note to say hi....I live in Victoria and have 2 children aged 15 and 14 (who has a disability) and 3 Amstaffs....our first dog Dezzy is 7 years old on Tuesday and is a Tracking Champion and a Delta Therapy Dog and is also in the highest group in Obedience but we dont trial in obedience due to my nerves....our seconddog Jessie is 6 years old and suffers from epileptic seizures and is also the first Amstaff in Australia to gain the Tracking Champion Title with my daughter who is the youngest at age 13 years old to gain the title, they do obedience together during the non tracking season.....our third dog is Pink who is 4 years old and is also a Tracking Champion....all of us and our dogs will be going onto Track and Search and will hopefully one day be able to have Grand Champion in front of their names.....Dezzy is also going to be handled by my son in Track and Search and Jordan has a disability but the two of them have a wonderful bond between the two of them.....I was recommended here by a friend and hope to have a lot of fun looking around the site

    Welcome LisaS

Your dogs are gorgeous. And well done getting them all trained to such a high standard.

I have a friend who has a bull terrier who is on her way to tracking something - I know they have the first two levels of it. It gets very tricky at the higher levels. And she's got some titles in obedience too but she's getting a bit old for the broad jump and isn't too keen on change of position. I don't know why.

    She does love tracking tho.

I've done some agility and like teaching my dog heeling tricks like they have in dances with dogs - tho I'm not so keen on choreographing to music. And I get nervous at competition too unless I can convince myself to just have fun and not get hung up on getting results.

    Hope you enjoy it here.

Thanks Hyacinth...tracking does get a bit tricky towards the end as you now have 8 tracks to do.....and I got a bit funny about acutes but as I was told they are only corners.....your friend will love tracking it is very addictive and it is great just getting out there with your dog as it is only you and your dog working together....I am sure I will find this site very helplful and will be lots of fun

I've been trying to do a post and introduce the Womble as well as do a catch up one of the Porche girl but my computer thinks its terminaly ill and my wireless connection believes the Tbox deserves more but will try to get one up first thing in the morning .
