    Hey Guys,

So first things first, an introduction.

For privacy's sake anyone can call me Morph. I currently live in Queensland with my beautiful Pitbull X. Yes, we know the BSL (We call it Bullshit Legislation laws. Fortunatly until he grew a little older we had no idea that he's a Pitbull. We picked him up from a guy who said his father was a Staffy or a French Mastiff. (He told my partner and I two different things.) Anyway, when we went to pick Hunter from his two other litter mates the bloke who was selling them showed us a blurred picture of his father who apparently lived on another property up the road. Thinking back to it, he was too short and thin to be a French Mastiff and too tall to be a Staffy. Either way Hunter won us over and we took him home. After a few hours of research we agree'd that he was defiantly a Pitbull given the evidence. Since then we haven't looked back. Hunter is the sweetest little red nose Pitbull We're glad we opened our hearts to Hunter (although we worry about what could happen if council were to suspect anything).

Anyway, Hunter and I do pretty much everything together. We love the long walks we have together, keeps us both fit. I love swimming and this summer we will be introducing Hunter to the waves as well. I also want to get into hiking and camping with him. He is my pride and joy. Hunters 1 month off being an adult dog, he still acts like a young pup though
I know this introduction has pretty much nothing to do about me but that's not what I'm here for anyway Hope I get to meet a few people here and I'm sure there's a lot to be learnt.

    Welcome Morph

If you don't have registration with your dog's ancestry from the American Canine association - then you could safely argue your dog could be anything. He might look like a pitbull - but that doesn't mean he is a pitbull.

Lots of mixed breeds look like pitbulls and definitely are not. And it's been so long since pitbulls were allowed to be imported or registered with the Australian registry - that any breeder can mix in anything they want and call it "pitbull". Or not - as they choose.

So you have a big strong dog and it's up to you to keep him safe (and I'd be staying well away from Victoria with him - I won't even take my own spotty dog there).

Very true Hyacinth! And Victoria is one place we crossed off our list when we bought Hunter.
