    Default Very belated introduction - Brisbane

    I've never bothered with introductory posts before, i don't know why. Though today i feel like doing one, so hello!

    I've been on this forum, very sporadically, for a while now. Sometimes for personal research, sometimes to share things with other dog-parents, etc. I can't say i've contributed anything, really, i suppose i'm the kind of person that sits back and reads and only adds my opinion if it hasn't already been said by someone else.

    Anyway, about me;

    A Brisbanite, been around the world a bit as a child but been settled here since i was ten. Owned by a horrid (sometimes) DSH cat called Wilhelm which The Husband brought into the relationship. Also owned by a Rotti x Retriever called Sadie, four in March this year. Other family dogs include Sheltie Nugget (12), BC Pepper (1) and the late Stardust. I would class myself as an obsessive owner. If there is something to do, or somewhere to go, my first question is always "can Sadie come, too?" usually, she can, because my friends and family think she's pretty darn awesome, too. They sleep on the bed, stay in the house when we're out, don't go outside unsupervised, etc.

    The only thing that really gets me riled up is when people talk about my dogs like they're 'just a dog'. I don't think i need to elaborate given the nature of this forum

    Also owned by a variety of other small critters including some friendly pythons, a cantankerous old cockatiel and a fuzz-ball rat called Beau who insists on grooming every finger he can grab because, obviously, our hands are super lickable.

    Yay, an introductory post!

    'shooshoo' - belated to the forum !

    Thank you for the ONE photo - but - what about the rest of your pet family ? I sure would like to see photos of them - and I am sure that the 'boyz' would also - as there doesn't appear to be a 'cat' in amongst the menagerie !

    I think that you will find that no animal/pet is just a ....... on this forum - even though we do seem to be able to get really good reactions from cat owners !

    Hi shooshoo, welcome. Wow, lots of pets I'm with Riley, more photos needed (please)!!

    Reyzor and Sean are our resident comedians - it's nice to see them both back, it's been very quiet in here...

    Haha, thanks for the friendly welcome That photo was taken at our engagement party, Sadie was also our ring-bearer while Star just came along to look pretty and rule over the ceremony.

    As requested, here are some more pics of the family. There is another post of mine relating to late Star, there are oodles of pics of her in there so i won't post them here.

    The Husband loves rockclimbing, so Sadie and i tag along too sometimes. Sadie has her own special harness which we use in dangerous terrain. It attaches to my harness just in case she takes a bad step in steep or slippery areas. Anyway, i she enjoys agility so we taught her some things that would allow her to climb better/safer without so much supervision from us and to also accept being carried in the harness if required. I'll find a photo of that too

    And one last pic of Starry

    I can't find any half decent pics of my other reptiles, but when i do i'll post them, too.
