    Default Hello Fellow Dog Lovers!

Hello, my name is Gabby, and I have loved dogs for as long as I remember, and now that I am living out of home, I am finally ready to get my own dog <3 I had staffies through my teens when living with my dad, but am now looking at getting a Border Collie after spending many years working with them through my jobs at boarding kennels. I currently work at two seperate boarding kennels, The Pets Hotel in Port Melbourne, and Coldstream Boarding Kennels (a division of Animal Aid). I have joined in the hopes of meeting new people, and hopefully finding a good breeder of borders (I am loooking for a blue, or chocolate merle in victoria), so if anyone has any contacts with litters due soon I would love to know! I also have many other pets in my home, including cats, rabbits, rats, mice, spiders, scorpions, and a blue tongue lizard Compulsory pics:

    Raikou (breeder), my siamese:

    Cougar (rescue), my moggie:

    Primrose (rescue), my scottish fold:

Barra (breeder), one of my childhood staffirs lying upside down on the carpet, he was about 6 mths in this pic, and is now 7:

    Hi and welcome!

Have you considered a rescue BC?
There is nothing wrong with many of these dogs, they just need an owner who understands them
    and their needs.
All the best, whichever road you take.

Thanks for the warm welcomes guys Thanks for the breeder link Grevillea47, I have looked through most of those breeder pages already unfortunately, and no one has pups in choc merle or merle at the moment. Perhaps I need to learn to be more patient Chubbsecurity, I have definately been looking for a rescue BC at the same time, but they are few and far between in seems (been looking on many different websites for rescues, as well as petrescue and adoptapet) and havent found any I also work at a boarding kennel which profit goes straight to a rescue, and I have been looking at the dogs coming through there as well. Borders are too special to give up
