    Plants in the garden can also cause allergies. I will leave it to some with more knowledge than me on this one.

    We also have a bichon poodle X. Poor boy we suspect was from a puppy farmer so i put alot of his 'problems' down to shitty breeding.

    He has eye and teeth/gum problems and he is constantly scratching and nawing at his fur/skin - causing scabs & really bad staining (dark red). I've used antiseptic shampoo, oatmeal, vinegar, various organic shampoo's to no avail. He's fed a raw diet, doesn't touch grass, so can't be a seed allergy. We've given up and just try to treat the scabbing and open wounds caused by the scratching. I am 99% sure it's down to his breeding and perhaps your little one is the same.

    Where abouts do you live? Not exact address, just what state and area?

    @Snickyday

    where does who live? Is Melbourne not a good indicator of state and area? That's where the person who started the thread has in their location (top right of their post).
