Thread: Who gets "the look" from their dogs?

  1. #1

Default Who gets "the look" from their dogs?

You know... "the look" the one you ALWAYS know has trouble written all over it. You don't know what they've done yet, but they look so guilty and give it away that they did something they aren't suppose to? Maddex doesn't have it yet, but I was talking to family back home and my grandmother was mentioning how the Dachshunds always give themselves away when they do something bad. Who else has a dog that does that?

I have a dachshund, so I'm sure i will get 'that look' at some point. I think the closest I've got is when he gets a bit too full on in play and I get teeth connect with skin and I make a big deal and pretend it really hurt, then he goes all sheepish and his eyes grow all big and shiny and sad, lol.

Oh I know that look! When I use to live at the house, I'd get that look if they thought they could bargain their way out of something :P

My dog gives me that look. She sits on her kitchen mat. And she kind of hunches up, and puts her ears down and back soft, and make her eyes big and round...

And all it means is she wants my dinner. :S

If she's been chewing on my ugg boots, she usually brings me one, slighty soggy and remodelled and looks extremely pleased with herself - she's inviting me to join her very fun game.

Mags has no concept of "oops", the look is related to "please don't go, stay and play"
