I came home tonight and Sammy was not his usual self at all; instead of being happy and excited to see me he was cringing, head low and tail down (which is very unusual). We couldn't see anything wrong so we were trying to cheer him up. But then, I went outside and found that he had decided to move my shoes from the lounge room to the lawn outside... Told him off for this and finally he obviously felt absolved and went back to being his usual happy self.

Reminds me of the time we came home once and the frame of the doggie door was on the floor in the living room, and Barney was nowhere to be seen

Gave it to him a few months ago now. It's still going!
It gets a chew from every new dog that comes to our house
Luke's happy to share it. He wasn't in the beginning, hence trying to bring it inside for safe keeping Didn't want the possums to get it. He tried burying it outside. Did a trerrible job. Couldn't dig a hole big enough so he dug a medium hole, sat it on top and covered it with a bit of dirt. So funny. We'd go outside and he'd follow us, run over to wherever he'd hidden it to make sure it was still there then come back to us and make sure we didn't walk over and find it.

I get the look when one of them is trying to get past me inside with a visible bone in their mouths.
Jessie though is sneakier and tries to smuggle a small one inside That she can close her gob around. Still gives the look. My suspicions are aroused.
They get told "excuse me? In your dreams or you know better than that" I point outside and they slink back out.

    Other than that..nope.

Yes, definately had 2 "the looks" last night.
I walk in, my GSD in on his bed and DOESNT get up to greet me, just the tip of his tail wagging, ears back n down, with 'the look'. I ask my OH what's he done? At which point, Pup Pohm come crashing through the dog door, with her usual enthusiastic greeting.
the GSD had done nothing, pup pohm had though. Then my OH showed me the deck. ah. She's eaten her sofa. Bless. Completely oblivious that its wrong, whilst poor Bernie is so guilty looking for something he didnt do.
Our pup has chewing days, she's had 3 in her first year. But each time, she goes for something gold. Like a sofa! grrrr
