I'm the same, we buy cars to suit the dogs. We were going to upgrade to an SUV but there's just not enough room in the back so we have to go proper 4WD!

The only car that can take all 8 of mine is a 4x4 wagon so I had to buy one.

I was looking at getting a great dane before I got my dachshund (lol, extreme opposite) and I was taking into account that I'd need to buy a van or station wagon for the dog.

I did buy an SUVa 2010 IX35 , the fact that its fully optioned was a bonus lol, Fold the back seats down and theres plenty of room for the dogs or music gear lol. Thanks for making me feel better!!!!

You know that you have it really bad when you take the pups with you to make sure there is enough room in the back of the car for them to be comfortable before you will put a deposit down !

That is what I do..how else do you know you can fit four large dogs? LOL I did it with the Jeep, they nearly fell over as it was a brand new Grand Cherokee and yes it does fit four large dogs. But since Katy's injury we prefer her not to use the step-up. Hence we now have the Jeep Parked and the Caddy drives the dogs around, they love it and there is so much room......And yes we also tried it first, the whole gang

I brought my cat with dogs and future children in mind! I got a 2009 rav4 and it's got plenty of room for everyone!

There is no psychiatrist in the world like a puppy licking your face.
