Default Walks in and Around Melbourne?

Just wondering where people from Melbourne take their dogs for a walk? We live in Carlton so we go to Princess Park most of the time but haven’t really tried other parks in Melbourne yet. We went to Albert Park a couple of times and also like going to Williamstown and St Kilda. However, it gets a bit boring after a while so can anyone recommend any other parks to take the dog (preferably with off lead areas)?

Also wondering if anyone could recommend walks outside of Melbourne? Torquay is great. The beach there is simply beautiful and you can walk for hours. I would love to go inland a bit as it is not hot anymore but I don’t really have an idea where to go. So again, if anyone has suggestions, I would love to hear them!!!

Thanks Occy!! Botanical gardens is definitely on the list (been living in Melbourne now over a year and still haven't managed to go to the botanical gardens... ). We will try Mordialloc beach at the weekend.

    Hey Hippo,

While looking for something completely different, I found this. Thought it might be of interest?

City of Melbourne - Parks - Dogs off-leash areas
