Holey crap BG - that is a full on jacket, got a hood and everything!

Rex and Miss M don't mind their jackets. Molly definitely doesn't need one, that girl overheats in her natural coat doing nothing lol and i only ever put her coat on when it's raining, or when we head to training to try and keep her nice and clean! Between the two of them, they probably have more jackets than myself - i went a little bit stupid when they first came to me and got too excited on the prospect of being able to play dress ups. Lol

Well I thought Banjo didn't feel the cold but she nearly pushed me out of bed last night by wanting to lie against me. Which is exactly the reason why I bought my old dog a coat! So off to the pet store on the weekend...

Well, thankfully i dont have to put clothes on my dogs. Im smiling here, thinking you are all perhaps a tad in 'dressing up dollies' mode? lol Im teasing.
some dogs do feel the cold more than others. Pohm is colder than bernie, but she can run to warm up and keep up.
But she's certainly plonked her butt over the ducted heat vent now!

I bought a glow ball for Pohm on Sunday online, wonderful! I can see it before the sunrises, and cuts down search time with my torch.
its water proof, made of extreemly durable rubber. $just under $30 with P&P.
Id rate this ball 10/10 for a great Winter toy.

I never thought I'd ever put any clothes on any dog of mine. But my last bitsa had such a thin coat, you could pretty much see her skin through it. And being some lurcher type dog, she barely had any fat on her either. So she really felt miserable in winter, especially trying to sleep at night. And if your dog sleeps on your bed, you really want to prevent them seeing you as a breathing hot water bottle! It makes for very uncomfortable nights. So I'll now get Banjo some pyjamas so she doesn't feel the need to burrow into the back of my legs in the middle of the night.

BG - Hooch does not look like he is lovin his coat. The other night I put Duke's Weatherbeeta on before we went for a walk, and he absolutely would not go out the gate until I took it off. He was giving me this look, like "how could you expect me to wear this in public?"

Duke could not care less about winter, but he does have a fair amount more body fat than Chopz.
I did buy Chopz this super cute hoodie from eBay though!

The other one is him hiding under my ultra mismatched linen.

I found a coat that I bought for my old dog (but didn't stay on properly on her) in the cupboard today. So I thought I would put it on Banjo at night until I can get her a new one on the weekend.

It is so big, it looks like a cape on her! I tried to take a photo, but it didn't work... She looked like she smiled when I put it on. But she already got her front legs stuck in it twice. I cannot leave her unsupervised in this coat at all! But that's ok, because it's only to prevent her from pushing me out of the bed!
